This lively club venue is described as inspirational when the existing Merchant Pub extends to create unique dimension and lounges for gigs and music. With new vibes and cool sound system by TW Audio, the Armada Petaling Jaya opens a brand new ‘The Merchant Live’.
Perfect as a premier private club that offers somewhat a diverse range of business and leisure, this brand new Merchant fills the atmosphere with live music and enthusiastic crowds enjoying one booze or two with a good sound surround. Music is loud and great for parties and trust me, nobody wants to party in s library. So the loud in here was inevitably the switch to a good party mode.
The walkway at the entrance probably is one of the scene stealer and could have earned more shots on the camera than inside the bar itself. It’s not every day you walk through a changing neon light tunnel. Its entrance might make Merchant come off as a hole in the wall, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
With huge podium to stage the star musician and neon lights everywhere, the dance floor quickly fills with crowd in no time.
Moving to the private suites, namely Red, Gold and Silver; where one can stage their own singing talent, it provides the best possible approximation of actually being a star musician blowing up a club. Use this as your personal arena and the room holds more than 30 pax easily. A phoenix dart machine and a British Pool Table (available only in the largest suite) entertain guests and along with many other offerings, also make this a great place for corporate get together and celebrations.
Glossy screens and touch panel to select the latest hits of various main languages, there’ll be something for everyone. And if you are a juke box like me, the collections if hits in its library may not be at a satisfactory level but his spacious room and huge screen can keep your energy flowing perpetually throughout the night.
And let’s not forget about their prompt and attentive services. Food menu available and the best selection should be none other than their famous satay. Juicy and tender, accompanied by tasty dipping sauce.
To compete with other karaoke lounges, this mid town spot’s got all the fixings: private party rooms, neat decor and an open bar drink deal for those who need all the liquid courage to sing their hearts out. Officially launching 2nd quarter of 2015, The Merchant Live makes a great venue for all occasions. Food that comes with tons of other entertainments for every occasion, it can’t get any better.
